Safe Blogging Tips Assignment

1. Never offer personal information- I couldn't agree more with this, you never know what people will do if you put your personal information.
2. Assume what you post is permanent- Everything you put online stays online, it is scary to think that your information is out for everyone for good.
3. Control who can and cannot see your blog- I liked this rule because hopefully the people you know wouldn't ever use your information for anyone else to see or use.
4. Don't post pictures of your friends, yourself, etc. - This is one I need to do better at, I have posted a few pictures of myself...so its good for me to remember not to expose myself.

Blog Assignment

After reading the assignment specifications I immediately knew what I wanted to write about. There are a plethora of ways people pick up hobbies, and learn new things. This assignment required me to find three educational blogs and talk about how blogging and teaching go hand in hand. I chose three art blogs to talk about, mostly because my little sister is trying to learn all she can because she would someday love to major in animation. I know she looks analyzes a lot of art blogs to learn as much as she can about how to improve her skill. Before looking at these blogs I didn't believe that someone could learn art through looking at blogs...however I realize that many art blogs are specifically tailored so that others can learn from their work. The first blog I looked at was my sisters, http://kakellett.blogspot.com/. Just by looking at her art pieces I learned about balance, symmetry, pure symmetry and a few more things about art. The second blog I found showed a lot of figure drawings, they were very focused on the importance of lines. http://characterdesignnotes.blogspot.com/. The third educational blog I looked at also showed a lot of figure drawing. http://www.mirandameeks.blogspot.com/.

Here is the bread I made tonight! I made two loafs of white bread and four half white half wheat. A few weeks ago I also experimented with pizza crust. Anyway...enjoy my pics.
